Details

This US Performing Arts Musical Theater Camp is the essence of the "triple threat." Campers will take daily classes in voice, acting and dance. Rehearsals and class preparation will be part of the fun as well as the focus. Evenings will be spent in watching videos and developing critical analysis of performance through the history of musical theater. The week will end with a "work in progress" performance. Students will enjoy the recreational opportunities of the campus, including swimming. There will also be an evening social activity during the week.

Students check-in between 1 and 3pm on the first day of camp.
Travel should arrive into Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ) or Train Station on the first day of camp prior to 2pm.
Travel should depart from Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ) or Train Station on the last day of camp after 7pm.
Transportation is available to and from Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ) or Train Station for $30 each way.

Program Directors

Robert Tunstall, Program Director
Robert Tunstall: Kennedy Center appearances include Celebrate Broadway starring Linda Eder and John Lithgow and the 35th Anniversary Celebration starring Angela Lansbury. He also had the honor of staging and performing "One" with the song's creator, Marvin Hamlisch, in honor of Steve Schwarzman in New York City. World tours include A Chorus Line (Bobby), The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow), and 42nd Street. He assisted Paula Abdul with the choreography for Off-Broadway's Reefer Madness and the feature film The Master of Disguise starring Dana Carvey. Robert is on faculty at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, where he teaches "Movement for the Actor." He spent last summer teaching Theatre Dance at the United States Performing Arts Camps in Washington D.C. and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Choreography Credits include Cats, Evita, Wonderful Town, Carousel, Les Miserables, A Funny thing happened...Forum and Deborah Gibson live in concert. Robert is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy - NYC.
