Have you ever wondered how you can become a voice in the next big cartoon? Would you like to add the world of animation, video games and commercials to your acting resume? Then this workshop is for you! Taught by a team of leading Disney casting directors, students will see what it takes to have a career in voice over and learn the ins and outs of the perfect audition. They will learn to develop characters and find comedy with their voice, all while creating a dynamic performance.
Students will not only get experience behind the mic at a professional recording studio, but will also get one on one feedback on the characters they create. In addition to exercises and script work students will gain an insight into what makes a good demo reel, what the casting director wants to hear, and what the array of VO opportunities are for the trained actor.
A trip to Disney Studios to work in a professional sound booth will be part of this workshop. Professional guests may visit from time-to-time during the week.
