Dance for Musical Theater Camp Details

A Dancer's Dream! Dance, Dance, Dance.... This dance camp offers dance from morning 'til night. The uniqueness of this experience is that it focuses on dance for the musical theater stage. Beginning and advanced training with professional working dancers and choreographers, the Dance Workshop immerses the participant in ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theater dance styles. Very soon you will be doing dance steps and styles of the great choreographers of musical theater such as Michael Kidd, Agnes DeMille, and Bob Fosse. Learn about feeling the music to the bottom of your soul and expressing it in various dance styles. Boys and girls alike will find this unique dance experience exhausting and exhilarating at the same time and the work-in-progress performance at the end of the week is always a major crowd pleaser as the audience gets on their feet because of the energy and professionalism of the Dance Workshop. This Dance Workshop proves to be one that even advanced talent will want to take part in as it offers a peak into the college dance world and offers the professional training required for musical theater performance.

< Students are assessed on the first day of the program and are grouped accordingly by ability. Our Dance faculty works closely with students, giving one on one feedback to address individual strongpoints and weaknesses. Our program provides instruction for all levels- beginner to advanced.
