I have been involved in theatre for just three years, and I know that I love it with the very core of my being. I am passionate about singing and take private voice lessons. Aside from theatre, I write, do visual art (paint, draw, charcoal, sculpture, photography), and more! I love to be on stage, not to "show off", but to give people the very honest and raw person that many people don't get to see in others. I hope to major in Theatre Voice Performance when I go to college.

I was playing this very emotional role in the play Our Town and I kept trying to bring out all the emotion but it wasn't all coming. April, my professor, then told me something that I'll always remember. She said, "You have to live it and trust it will come." So we go back to run the scene again and I take a deep breath and start and as I got more and more into it, the stage, audience, and everything literally disappeared, and everything felt so real to me. Right then all this emotion just came bursting out of me. I can't even describe it. It was a whole other side of acting I never knew before. That was one of the best experiences not only of that camp but of my life so far.

Bio:
I am 17, and I love to have fun. My passion is acting and singing. This year i am a SENIOR! It's the best feeling ever. The things that i like about being a senior are being the Big dog on campus, having the younger classes look up to you, and also being able to show your leadership skills. The reason i did this camp was to get better hands on experience with Acting for the Camera. Most of the acting i have done was for theater and live audience. I enjoy both but i prefer onscreen. I have two dogs, Bently and Kella. Those dogs are the reason for living and coming home, even when things aren't going very well at home, school, or life. They always put a smile on my face. Well enough about my dogs! I love to help people. I were to become "Famous" I would use the money to help charities and foundations for anyone in need of help. I rarely think of myself before i think of others. I think a lot more people should be that way.

Jesse Luke Murphy
Bio:
I am originally from New York and currently a freshman at the University of San Francisco. Throughout high school i was focused on a football scholarship. In my senior year I balanced playing football and playing double lead roles as Troy Bolton in High School Musical and Daniel Buexhomme in Once On This Island in community theatre. At age sixteen I began taking classes in New York City (sitcom, tv commercials, film 1, film 2, monologue interpretation, and singing)
I got my first callbacks for agencies in New York and Los Angeles in February 2008. My acting teachers recommended I attend a workshop at UCLA to establish a feel for theatre as opposed to television and film. Their advice in mind I set out and established connections with some of the industries biggest choreographers, Broadway stars, and life coaches, as well as gaining a serious appreciation for the theatre itself. My future endeavors are to attend a master class at the ACT (American Conservatory of Theatre) in San Francisco. I will be transferring to SMC (Santa Monica College) where I will be enrolled in their rigorous theatre program while working with some of the bigger agencies that are available to me and living out my dreams. My junior year in college I will be auditioning to transfer to UCLA as a Theatre major, and with help from God, hard work, and determination I will hopefully be trained by the best in the business. I am not special, I am just an average person who has a dream of one day being able to touch someone else's life through the work that I love.

The whole experience was incredible. I loved rehearsals with my cast and professors. It was the best connection I have ever had with people, there was always love, passion, and ambition. Through all our hard work we always had the greatest times. These were the most talented and funniest people I've ever met. And I actually got to "play" with them on stage. Our bonding rehearsals were ridiculously fun also. We helped each other develop as artists and I love them for it, and we still keep in touch :)
