This week long intensive is designed for the intermediate to advanced urban dance enthusiast. Students will participate in classes in traditional Hip Hop, Breaking - including B-Boying, B-Girling, and Popping - video-style Hip Hop/Jazz, and Freestyling. Specialty classes are geared towards preparing dancers to break into the industry, from audition techniques to tips on making your resume and headshot stand out from the rest. A special feature of the week will be a master class taught by a guest choreographer, a question-and-answer session where students can grill industry professionals about the ins and outs of the business, and a live performance showcasing all of the routines learned in each class.
* Additional Camp/Workshop InformationStudents check-in between 1:30 and 2:30pm on the first day of camp. Flights should arrive into San Jose International Airport (SJC) on the first day of camp prior to 12pm. Flights should depart from San Jose International Airport (SJC) on the last day of camp after 5pm. Airport transportation is available to and from San Jose International Airport for $30 each way. Ronnie is one of the most dynamic multi-talented choreographers in Northern California who has an edge of what's happening in the world of Dance and Fashion today. This multi-faceted San Francisco-based Choreographer/Dancer made his mark by combining Hip Hop, Jazz, Fashion and Theatrics to create one of the most explosive and dynamic styles to hit the dance scene. Mr. Reddick has also started 3 of the most successful dance groups to hit the SF Bay Area, "La Femme Panache", "City Slam", and his newest venture "Eye Candy."
Ronnie has worked with such artists as Michael & Janet Jackson, Deborah Cox, Paula Abdul, Kristine W., Tony, Toni, Tone, Jody Watley, Liza Minelli, Santana, Ultra Nate, Kelly Price, Vicky Shepard, RuPaul, Jeanie Tracy, Abigail and M.C. Hammer. Mr. Reddick has also choreographed and worked with many Designers and Fashion Brands, Including (Kenneth Cole, Puma, Barcelino, Tommy Bahama, BeBe, West Coast Leather, YB Timepieces and Diesel) along with many corporations like Gap, Macy's, MAC Viva Glam Cosmetics, Nordstrom, Starbucks, API, Apple Computer, Google, Sun Microsystems, BEBE, Univision Television, E*Trade, Coca Cola, Micro Soft, Bill Graham Presents and recently a video for Hillary Clinton, just to name a few as well as choreographing tours around the world for many corporate bands.
But that's not all. Along with his busy career, Mr. Reddick is also the choreographer and Show Director at Asia SF and the soon to open...Asia SF/Hollywood, in Los Angeles a unique Restaurant / Dining experience which features the most beautiful gender illusionists in the world.
A consummate teacher who inspires a new generation of talent, Ronnie Reddick has taught Master Classes for the cast of the Las Vegas Caesar's Palace Show "A New Day" featuring Celine Dion. He has been a guest professor at Stanford University in Northern California and at Princeton University in New Jersey.
The Stanford campus, located 30 minutes south of San Francisco, offers excellent faculty and studio facilities for the training of actors and dancers and an outstanding background for filmmakers.
