This premiere Theater Camp provides intensive training for the young actor. Various approaches to the craft of acting will incite the creative imagination of each participant while introducing them to new forms of creative theater through improvisation, movement, and theater games. Daily workshops will explore performance techniques in comedy, voice and diction, improvisation, physical humor, line interpretation, rhythm and timing, movement, and stage combat. Students will also work on other essential components of acting such as character development and interpretation, scene study, the basics of Shakespeare, and monologue preparation.This theater program will culminate in a final "work in progress" performance demonstration for family and friends.
