Advanced Digital Film Camp Details

Our Advanced Digital Filmmaking Camp is a two week workshop for the serious, advanced film student who has a working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and the movie-making process. Students will learn how to effectively use special effects, composition, sound and other professional techniques. The Advanced Digital Filmmaking Camp will cover HD formats, lighting, and post production, including color correction. Our outstanding faculty, headed by USC professor Peter Exline and featured Film Industry guest speakers, will share their knowledge and professional experiences with students. By the end of this film camp, students will have created sophisticated films, many of which our students have submitted in their college application processes. Our two week Advanced Digital Filmmaking camp is full of exciting artistic development, technique mastery, new information, new friends, and fun! This program is designed to push the already advanced, knowledgeable student, helping them develop their technical skill, artistic voice, and artistic vision as a filmmaker. There will be a screening of the students' finished products on the last day of the program.

Our campers have drawn on their experiences at our camps to determine which direction they will take in pursuing a higher education. Many of our campers who have attended the Digital Filmmaking Camp have continued their studies in some of the best film schools in America. Some of our Digital Filmmaking alumni now attend film schools at USC, New York University, Chapman University, Loyola-Marymount, UCLA, and Cal Arts to name a few.

Enrollment in this workshop is limited.
