Founded in 1883, Oberlin College holds the distinction of being the first coeducational college in the United States.Located just 35 miles southwest of Cleveland, Oberlin's exquisite 440-acre campus provides outstanding facilities to house our summer Musical Theater camp. Home to the Allen Memorial Art Museum, Hall Auditorium, Little Theater, and minutes away from the Apollo Theatre, Oberlin is renowned for its emphasis on culture and the performing, creative, and fine arts.
The college is minutes away from downtown Oberlin, which was founded in 1833, and boasts a rich community of diverse history, representing many different cultures and interests.The charm of Oberlin can be found in the tree-lined streets and the historic downtown with unique shops and restaurants. The Musical Theater Acting Camp is in its 9th year at Oberlin College.
