Catherine Shafer has a BFA from TCU in Modern Dance
and has performed with several professional dance
companies. She danced with The Fort Worth Ballet
Association, The Tallahassee Ballet, and the Southwest
Florida Contemporary Dance Theatre. She founded a
youth dance company, Big Arts Dance Apprentices, on
Sanibel Island, Florida. She served as School Director for
Southern Ballet Theatre in Orlando, Florida as well as
housing director for the Florida Dance Association. She is
a certified Pilates instructor and has worked with dancers
in Houston and Fort Worth, Texas.
