Bio
John Paul Almon began performing at the age of seven and has not stopped since. He made his Broadway debut in the critically acclaimed musical Side Show and has appeared in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Parade, Funny Girl: in concert with Whoopi Goldberg, Linda Eder at the Palace, and most recently Candide at Lincoln Center with New York City Opera. He has appeared in over thirty productions around the world including Tokyo, Monte Carlo,Las Vegas, and Rio. John Paul has appeared in films for Disney, Fox and Columbia and has performed with Dolly Parton, Barry Manilow, Eminem, Melanie Griffith, Kristen Chenowith, and many others. He has worked with many of the finest directors,choreographers and casting directors on Broadway today, recently appearing with Paul Newman in his gala event benefiting The Hole in the Wall Camp for children with cancer. He is also set to star opposite Lanie Kazan (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) in the new play The Duchess of Chutzpah this fall at the Coconut Grove Playhouse.
