Bill Lynch (Faculty)Bill will be teaching: Musical Theater Acting Acting for the Camera at the following locations: Webster University Bio Bill Lynch joined the faculty of Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts in 1992. He holds a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Maryland, College Park and an M.F.A. in Acting from the Florida State University/ Asolo Conservatory of Actor Training. Since coming to Webster he has served as the dialect/vocal coach or director for over forty productions and has taught workshops for The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, The Black Rep, Stages St. Louis and Opera Theatre of St. Louis. In 2006 Bill received the William T. Kemper Award for Excellence in Teaching. Prior to coming to St. Louis Bill worked as a professional actor throughout the United States and Canada. A member of Actor's Equity since 1989, Bill continues to act professionally and has appeared in over thirty St. Louis productions, including Footloose (Kevin Kline Award nominee: Best Actor in a Musical), Sweet Charity, Damn Yankees, 110 in the Shade (Stages St. Louis), Urinetown, the Musical (Repertory Theatre of St. Louis: Kevin Kline Award, Best Ensemble in a Musical) I am a Man, Train is Comin' (St. Louis Black Rep), As You Like It (Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis), Art (Ozark Actor's Theatre), Evita, Camelot, Annie (The MUNY) and Falsettos (New Jewish Theatre: Best Actor in a Musical; St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Best Musical; Riverfront Times).
