I have a "passion"...and "I am" my passion for the arts! My joy in living, I incorporate in all my endeavors. Over the years, I've been fortunate to perform on national and local television, such as "Americas Got Talent" on NBC, and "106 & Park" on BET, in videos & treatments, and before celebrities and government officials overseas for the US Armed Forces in Europe, and concert halls and theatres. From an early start at Thomas Doherty High School in Colorado, developing and presiding over the schools' first unisex dance organization, with no formal dance training, to later officially debuting as a dancer and choreographer in college at Colorado State University, to further training in Graham, Horton, Ballet, Jazz, and Modern as a junior apprentice under the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble. I've also served as the choreographer for a small performance organization called "Foot Work" in Colorado for several years, and a guest choreographer for the CSU dance line, and for special local city events such as "June Teenth" and pride. Since living in the DC metropolitan area, I served as an original member of XFaction Dance Company, guest instructor for Bally's hip hop exercise classes, and current substitute instructor on roster for Joy of Motion for hip hop, jazz, and contemporary. My background in instruction, performing, choreographing, and parenting, continues to expand my journey, which now travels the path of early arts education through CityDance Ensemble. Life is grand stage...we all have a principal role...shine brightly...even without a spotlight!
