College Audition Bootcamp Details

Give yourself the edge! This is an opportunity you can't afford to miss. When you look at the statistics of the number of students auditioning for the small amount of coveted places in your first choice school, the odds are daunting. You can beat those odds with the right information, coaching from faculty who make the decisions, and the confidence that comes from knowing you're prepared. 89% of students who have attended a USPA college audition workshop in the past three years have been admitted to their first choice college program.

This College Audition Boot Camp is designed for current high school seniors and transfer students who will be entering college in the fall of 2012 and who are preparing for auditions in theater or musical theater. This is a perfect "brush up" for those who have taken the College Audition Workshop this past summer or for those who were unable to participate in the longer workshop. The College Audition Boot Camp will answer questions about monologue selection, vocal performance, give you important interview tips, tell you how to dress appropriately, and more. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a mock audition with feedback at the end of the weekend.

A Brown Bag Lunch Talk with Q & A will be held each day.
** A box lunch may be purchased for $10 each day or you may choose to bring your own.

What You Get When You Enroll in The College Audition Boot Camp:
  • Renowned faculty familiar with college audition requirements
  • Mock audition and feedback
  • 18 hours of concentrated instruction
  • Individual coaching on your monologue and vocal performance
