Classes in acting, movement, voice, musical theatre repertory and related topics will be taught by faculty from the Department of Theatre and Dance, an internationally-recognized collective of professional performers and scholars. The work of UT graduates in acting, design, dance and playwriting is seen worldwide. Austin, now on the creative cutting edge in all the performing arts, is an ideal setting for summer study. This camp fills up quickly! Register now for an intensive week of immersion in the fun worlds of theatre, Austin, and the University of Texas. Airport Pickup: Transportation to and from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is available for an additional fee. Students check-in Sunday and the program ends with a work in progress showing of your work on Saturday.
* Additional InformationStudents check-in between 1 and 3pm on the first day of camp. Flights should arrive into Austin-Bergstrom International on the first day of camp between 11am and 1pm. Flights should depart from Austin-Bergstrom International on the last day of camp after 3pm. Airport transportation is available to and from Austin-Bergstrom International for $30 each way.

Program DirectorsHolly Williams, Professor Location Information The University of Texas at Austin, one of the country's major research institutions, is located on 350 acres close to the beautiful Capitol of Texas complex in downtown Austin. The UT Department of Theatre and Dance, founded in 1938, is the largest theatre and dance department in the United States. With over 500 students and 50 faculty and staff, the Department offers more than 260 courses each semester. Austin, now on the creative cutting edge in all the performing arts, is an ideal setting for summer study; the work of UT graduates in acting, design, dance and playwriting is seen worldwide.
